    Better off getting this:

Philips ADSL Wiresless Modem Router + USB Adapter - £24.97 @ Tesco Direct (50% off)

Because it brings a free wifi usb dongle/adapter it beats it in price, quality, style and reliability (less likely to break in 6months!)

Spend that little bit extra and get more and better.

Not sure how much delivery is at tesco tho.

    :-)

    Peace

Hi - just popped one of these in my basket on the ebuyer website and selected the five day delivery option - which has discounted on screen as follows:

    £4.79 for shipping
    £14.99 for the wireless router

Total price: £19.78 - exactly the same as the original post I think...

Sky DO provide a router (and a good Netgear one with wifi as well) along with their excellent priced service (if you use their tv) but you need to use theirs as they won't give you the connect details to do it yourself with any router.
Some people have found a way around this. Google 'sky router url inject' to find out how.
I don't know why you'd want to do this if you have a good router that works.

I've been with TalkTalk for ages now, moved house and came back to them in January this year and even though I have asked they refuse pointblank to let me have a wireless router unless I pay full price!

A lot of G rated routers are having their prices dropped to rock bottom (or being given away free by ISP's) because of the increase in sales of N draft 2.0 routers....much faster with a much greater range, hence you can stream video's and work in the garden, hook up an IP camera for security etc...
They're good prices...but will you be wanting to upgrade in 6 months time?

Actually I was replying to that persons comment of £14.99. I tried to be funny but no one noticed it.

i thought most providers offer this free now??? When i asked Talk Talk last year they just posted me a free wirless router (even though i originally signed up when they were £30)

I did this last night with AOL. (im know they're crap ... but) I asked for a wireless router to be sent and they out me through to see if i was eligable or needed an upgrade. We were paying £24.99 pm, now for more MG and faster connection we are paying £19.99 and getting a router free. They wouldnt send me one on my current package ... i had to upgrade - for less money to get one!

Doesnt make sense to me - but im happy!
