Can anyone help. My pc seems to take a while to load up and I can hear things "running in the background" but not sure what they are or how to stop them.

If you post your current PC specs. and operating system, and any antivirus software / anything else that visibly runs in the system tray, I'm sure someone will be able to suggest some tips.Russia is HERE0

A good place to start is to do a disk clean up and delete EVERYTHING in your temp folder, cookies and prefetch folder then defrag your hard drive.
Don't delete the folders, just empty them.. make a note of any login/passwords you need before you do it.. in case you forget themThere's someone in my head, but it's not me0
