What would happen if................

Hi Folks.
I have a general question to ask before I post my main query and hopefully someone will have a definitive answer.
When submitting the forms for BR what would be the penalty if they were found to be incorrect at a later date? By this I mean not declaring any part time earnings to the OR at the time of filing the bankruptcy forms.
What course of actions does the OR have if that is proven to be the case? and if the individual actually made a financial loss via the part time work, would the OR still take any action?
Thanks In Advance
Hi IRT,
I can give you a definitive answer; absolutely nothing will happen. Once a bankrupt is discharged that's the end of it; any ommissions by the O.R are history.
You're in the clear; whatever you forgot to declare won't come back to haunt you; not this month; not next; not this year, or next year; in fact, never.
I hope that answers your question, and you can get on with your life.....

Since they/you have not made any money out of it or used it to put any funds beyond the creditors then I can't imagine the OR giving "two hoots".
They really do have bigger things to worry about.:pFree/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thanks all
From what I have gathered from looking at this problem, each case is treat on its merits but normally ends up where the case is re-opened and the final date for discharge is many years hence. grrrrr.
I have my post almost ready but have to trim to under the 5000 characters the site allows, lol.
All will become apparent shortly.
Again, Many Thanks to all who responed.
You really have nothing to worry about IRT. The I.S and the O.R's offices are much too busy to bother with minor indiscretions. There just aren't the resources to retrospectively review individual cases; mistakes happen.
Put the past behind you, and move on.

Well how the hell did you miss that bit of info off:D . If after dscharge why the bloody hell would the OR be interested in it, even if it did occur before discharge. The OR is a very busy man/women they have better things to do than investigate some person that may/may not(who is going to prove it?)have done a little undeclared work. Don't you worry sleep tight tonight.I would say there is nothing the OR could do even if someone did grass you up;) .DFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau
