Decent cheapish graphics card?

If its a decent branded one, 400W should be fine. Spot on with the thoughts regarding the molex.0

Ok, thanks Conor. Hmm well it wouldn't really fall into that category; its just the bog standard one the PC shop put in. It also doesn't meet the 22amps on the 12V power rail which Nvidia say it needs. Mine says 15 or something. Hmm, what do you think? I really don't want to change my PSU.0

I'm getting increasingly confused the more I look into all this. If the new card requires/tries to get more than the stated 17 amps on my PSU, will it break the PSU? Also, in order to get the required 2 molexes for the PCI express adaptor, is it not overloading it/defeating the point of needing 2 in the first place if I just use a splitter, then plug the splitter into the adaptor? Do I need 2 molexes from separate power rails?
Thanks again.0
