Update on my 3 orders with dialaphone.

As I said in my original post phone 1 delivered and I connected to network (T mobile) on Saturday. Today I received a letter from Dialaphone asking me to return the phone as the network were unable to complete my connection. I rang T-Mobile and they told me that everything is fine their end, I'm on a 12 month contract via dialaphone and they have issued my first bill. No issues or notes on my account at all. Rang Dialaphone and they can't answer me over the phone I have to email them my query. I have now emailed them a letter asking them to confirm, supported by T Mobile, that I am not on a 12 month contract before I return the phone else I expect the £200 cashback. Dial a phone know I'm connected as they've emailed the refer a friend confirmation that I'm connected.

Phone 2 (order for my DD) delivery put back again. I've now cancelled this order.

Phone 3 (ordered by OH). Delivery put back and then email saying T Mobile cannot complete connection. T Mobile told OH that they haven't had a connection request from them and ran him through their system and it's fine.

On the Dialaphone website the deals I ordered have all increased in price. Mmmh does this mean Dialaphone don't want to honour their deals? Is it because I've a 100% cashback claim record with them.

OH has written to them claiming libel if they cannot provide proof that T Mobile refused him as he thinks it's a slur on his reputation and his spotless credit rating.

On my second contract with dialaphone and both have been excellent with cashback cheques, easy and quick compared to E2 save, does this mean the decline has started with ownership now under phones4u?. If so who are we going to use in the future?

Had my very first contract phone through Dialaphone, which is just about to end after a 12 month contract. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They have been fantastic with regards to delivery and cashback.

Two weeks ago I would have been the same as you, full endorsement of dial-a-phone after 3 very sucessful cashback deals.

This time has been a nightmare though. Today I finally got to speak to a human who did actually take ownership of the problem and sort it and ring me back twice. They have now confirmed that I have a contract with T Mobile so my cashback applies etc. They think that the information was sent twice to T Mobile who refused the second sending and they didn't pick up it was a duplicate etc.

They still have no stock of the other phone I ordered and no expected delivery date, and this is the only decent phone on a cheap deal (Samsung J700).

My OH order, again they've made errors and they are trying to sort it out but it may take a while as again the Nokia is out of stock and I would have to re-order but the price has increased for this deal so not interested.

Today I went to the Virgin shop. I had a Samsung U600i 150min/150 text on 18 month contract for £12.

OH thinks he will go for one of their £12 deals too, he's just deciding between phones.

You need to remember that Dialaphone have recently been taken over by Phones4U.

Many peoples experiences with Phones4U are not as pleasurable as those with Dialaphone.
