Dialaphone don't deliver!

I placed 3 orders with Dialaphone last Thursday (12th June).

Phone one arrived Saturday 14th June but not the other two. Keep getting emails saying delivery delayed and delayed and delayed etc and the latest date for deliver is 21st June as they don't have the phones in stock.

So why advertise next day delivery if they don't have the phone? Shouldn't this flag up at point of order?

I have to say I (touch wood) have never had a problem with Dial-a-phone so I am surprised that you have had an issue with them. Have you tried ringing them to find out what is happening? Although you have had this problem with them I have found them to be the best cashback payers - with the easiest to follow instructions for what bill to send when. I use them every year for my new phone - I never stay with who I am with as the dial-a-phone incentives tend to be better than whichever provider I am with at the time. Hope your phone comes soon!

I used dialaphone last year and yes the cash backs are easy, even if they do keep changing my online account details to alter the dates but this year dreadful.

No delivery is pretty poor, is this because they are now part of Phones4u? Will their cashback payments go the same way. Tried ring but that automated service is a night mare. You now have 6 options, you now have 7 options, you now have 5 options...................................... and when I did eventually speak to a human being they don't know when they will have stock!

  • Hi,

I've got a question about the Redemption address.

Is this meant to be the address in Staffordshire, or in Northampton. Staffordshire is in paperwork, but Northampton is on website.

    Anyone know?

    Thanks

My paper work for redemption says Northampton.

  • Ok, thanks.

I only bought my phone early last week, and got it delivered OK the following day.

I put a Contact Form request in, and they resent my paperwork from what I saw, but this still says Staffordshire. My concern is that if they can't even put the right info on the documentation they sent me, then what chance have I of making a successful redemption cashback claim?

FineBoneChina - The redemption address i have always used is Northampton.

Poppy9 - I don't really know what to suggest. Its a shame you have had such poor service as it puts you off using them again doesn't it!

Sorry to not be any more help!

  • UPDATE:

I spoke to them after what was said on the thread, and they have confirmed it is the Staffordshire address. The reason is that this address is labelled to go to Phones 4U, and not Dialaphone (even though I bought it from Dialaphone). They say that as my first Redemption is around Nov/Dec, then the Staffordshire address is the right one as Phones 4U are the actual people paying the cashback as they own Dialaphone. If you are submitting claims now, then Northampton is OK, as both are acceptable for the time being.

Just to make sure, I asked them to confirm all the above in writing, which they now have.

Double *Touch Wood* they don't change this.

I just posted a message in FineBoneChina's other thread about dialaphones redemption address. Just saying that I too have sent my stuff to Northampton but that was before p4u took over. They have a Staffordshire address on their website at p4u so I reckon there is an merging process going on. My 2nd cashback claim is due in a couple of weeks time so I guess I'll find out soon if Northampton is still the address to use.

Dialaphone are getting on my nerves as well. According to them my first cashback was already paid to me by accident before its even due yet! My first stage of cashback is due between 17th june and 17th July and they keep saying they have paid me already. I keep being promised that they will sort out my account after many emails and even sent my bank statements in twice to prove I have not been paid....

I ordered a phone from Dialaphone last week and delivery kept being delayed due to low stock. Then I received an email saying that I had been declined by the mobile network. Spoke to mobile network and they say they have not received an application for me from dialaphone. The deal I was after with dialaphone has now increased by £2 per month on their website. Coincidence? Dialaphone have told me to reapply as they probably had a typo error on my original application.

I know I have 100% credit rating and I have no debts aside from a low mortgage.
