Anyone using Adobe Media Player?

I keep getting asked if I want to download Adobe Media Player and Adobe Air. Is anyone else using this yet? Does it do anything that all the other media players can't do? I do use Adobe Reader although experts usually moan about it being resource hungry, so is the same true for Adobe Air?

I've never used Adobe Media Player (and I don't plan to) but Adobe Air is a new platform which enables you to download a lot of cool freeware programs so I see no harm in installing that.
