Adding an extra seat to my Honda CRV?

Can i leagally add an extra seat in the rear of my honda?
I have found a site in the US that sell them but not sure if it would cost loads to ship across?

Any body have any ideas?

I'd call a Honda dealer in the UK. They should know if they sell such options, and if fixing points exist in the car.

Even if it can be shipped cheaply you'll be hammered for import taxes, so check with a UK dealer first.

Also this may have implications on to your insurance, dont forget to find out prior to purchase.

Absolutely - this type of change will not be quoted by a lot of insurers as an accident whilst a passenger is sitting in a poorly fitted seat can result in terrible injuries.

Yes I have said to my hubby about insurance.
And I would not fit anything that wasnt safe in my car.
Its just we love our car and its in really good condition it would be so great if we could keep it.
Other than that we were thinking of a Chrysler Voyager.
Will speak to a Honda dealer I think.
