Hi I have recently bought a new LCD TV & 'am unsure whether its worth selling my old TV?
There's nothing wrong with the old one, its nine yrs old, Panasonic 32" , wide digital plus, 100 Hz, Dolby surround sound, Quintrix Wide, Super 3D bass & comes with speakers & stands Also TV comes with its own stand with built in speakers. Its obviously quite wide in proportions now & not HD ready, is it worth selling?

& how much if so?

Appreciate any comments , help

Thx

    You'll be lucky to get any more than £50 for it, so it's your call..

    Might be worth having a quick look on eBay to see what others are going for. You could always sell it there to anyone willing to collect it, or maybe put a postcard in your local newsagent's window.

    Alternatively try phoning your local charity shops if you don't mind giving it away - they might even collect it for you...

    My local TV shop is selling brand new boxed CRT tellies to get rid of the space.

    26" = £100
    28-32" = £120
    36" = £150

    Top end 28" Sony's have been going for £50+ on eBay, so it'll definitely be worth that, try selling in your local paper if you want a bit more.

    Else if you want to give it away, try a local old or hospice first, else there is always Freecycle, you can also stipulate on Freecycle that it's for charities only.

    Most of these will provide a far better picture on SD TV than any flat screen TVs - well worth the money !
