    Hi
    Suggest https://www.southernrock.com

This is an on line company which specializes in motor cycle / scooter insurance. When comparing their prices bear in mind that they automatically include beakdown and legal cover.
  • Best thing you can do is get a copy of "Twist and go" and look through the adverts there. If i was to go for a particular one thats good with scooters, it would be Footman James.

Have you searched this board for scooter insurance? Because I think Tesco's been mentioned as a good deal, may not be them but someone will give you a year's NCB when you first insure a car with them if you've had their scooter insurance.

So if he intends to upgrade to 4 wheels when he's 17 that would be worth considering.
Signature removed for peace of mind

Hi - apologies for giving you the wrong link.Southern Rock Insurance is the company behind

    https://www.ebikeinsurance.com

and from past experience they will give you a keen price for a 16 year old especially for TP only/TPFT.

    Best of luck

I had a bit of bother with this when I lived in Leeds, and the cost was tremendous.

I actually found the cheapest way to do it was through a broker. The underwriter was Zenith. Not only that, but Zenith are great if you have to make a claim too.

Can I suggest you try Lexham Insurance on 01379 643830. They came up £200.00 cheaper for my 17 year old son's motorcycle insurance. I rang direct but have an e-mail address off of the paperwork received. enquiries@lexhaminsurance.co.uk. Hope this helps
