Balance transfer someone else's balance

Hi,
Is it possible to transfer the balance from someone else's card onto your own?
My partner has some credit card debt and a poor credit history so cannot get a 0% card to repay it off, so I want to open a card myself and transfer her balance onto this so she can pay it back through me rather than paying £40 a month interest.
Are there any cards that will allow this/
Thanks

All cards will allow this, but be extra aware that if your partner splits it will become your debt, and if they fail to pay you this doesn't stop the lender chasing you..

Yes you can transfer a debt from your partners card to your own.

The credit card companies are not concerned with where the debt is coming from, it can be you partner, your parents or even Dave from down the pub (he may even buy you a beer  )

However, you should be aware that once the debt is transferred you become solely liable for repaying the debt and you partner would have no legal obligation to assist in making repayments on their old debts.
