odd CC query...

in Credit cards
grateful for your advice!
we called our CC company at the weekend to check our balance in order to transfer it to a new 0% card.
they advised that we had no outstanding balance and that we were actually in credit....it seems that whilst they have accepted our last payment they have also allocated another payment to our card which has paid off the full outstanding amount
we queried it and they confirmed that the amount came from the same account as our last correct payment so in their eyes there is no error
this now leaves us in credit...
what do we do? has this ever happened to anyone else?

I suggest going to a branch at lunchtime to query the transaction. Did you arrange the balance transfer ofver the phone? If you provided the card details, they may have transferred the full balance? After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
