Hi
I have a jvc sp-pwm303 suround sound system.. the 5 sattelite speakers are all connected to the main station through clip type speaker leads so that they can detach. unfortuantely at the other end (ie where the speaker cable goes into the individual speakers) it is wired straight in and i cant see how to detach them there - the reason i ask is im moving house and want to take the speakers with me but the cables are all stuck under floorboards.. so my plan is if i can just take the speakers i can buy new speaker cable to connect later..
also ive tried undoing the scre on the speakers tosee if i can undo it myself but cant see anything that would help..
thanks

They may be soldered inside the speaker itself.
I would cut the wire (make sure it is switched off 1st) leaving as much as you can on the speaker.
Then you can extend them again using new speaker wire(from Maplins?)when you get to your new place.
Note make sure when you re-install them that you get the speaker wires the right way around..
one is usually marked with a white stripe, or there will be a red and black wire.
This can make a huge difference to sound quality if you wire them wrong.“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0
