Hi everyone

Sorry to be gone so long....but......I have been taking control of my "troubles" and FINALLY found a solution to the problem about the house.....it will mean a lot of work over the next two weeks with letters etc....BUT.......I've finally found a way forwards and how to get the work rectified without me having to pay any more money (at one point the possible implication was paying £20k for Bodget and Scarper's fiasco or face court and then a further £25k to ANOther builder to put it right:eek: :eek: )... And now it looks like my surveyor is finally going to play ball and actually help sort it out....and I have also found a nice company who will put it all right for me next spring with their own surveyors and builders....and I won;t get into trouble with the insurance company......PHEW!!.....

.....and then i stupidly rang my family to tell them, thinking they'd be pleased......:o

....so now I'm experimenting with mulled wine recipes (apologies therefore if I might not make much sense later tonight )

Piglet and Numpty - thanks for the PM's and posts.......they have been great and kept me going....:A

And to other friends for all your telephone calls.(you know who you are)...:A :A

I am nearly there folks....so just remember...I'LL BE BACK...very soon......builders and insurance companies....read and weep!!

Hugs to all - and BTW I can recommend mulled wine experiements as a really good way of spending these dark cold evenings when you feel a virus coming on....;)
