Hi gals 'n guys
Well the lovely Smashedbooboo came down for the weekend and we had a great chill-out when I forgot all my troubles. Thnx so much SBB--you are an angel :A ...and have I told you lass, I'm 'reet glad you're my friend
Unfortunately reality hit with a vengeance today ref house/build contract/insurance claim/legal situation/lack of anyone with any experience in this particular type of situation to advise.....
........and unhappily my dad (bless him) was not helpful with his advice (put a carpet over it and move out as soon as...)...NO dad, please, please understand.....just for ONCE!!......this is MY HOME...I've worked hard to build this up over the last 8 years..(after terrible carp circumstances for the previous 15 years) .....so I do not wish to abandon just because "the going get's tough" owing to a bunch of idiot builders....why should I be forced out of my (once) lovely home and upend my life and finances...and everything else because of them??
I know you love me dad and just want the best for me...but running away this time is NOT an option for me..and I have not yet reached the stage where this could be classified as "cutting my losses".
Bloomin 'eck, going through tough times as nearing the one year anniversary of "you know what"
Oh goodness gracous...really DO feel like chucking in the towel tonight
Nasty insurance man has given me 14 days to get the full contents claim in...great...except it's taken him 15 months to process the claim to get me back into my house ref reinstatement/build contract and now he's giving me 14 days ultimatum on contents???
.....'s not fair ref!! Why am I so nice and ...well weak and feeble minded.....:rotfl:
Sorry peeps.......but please don;t worry.......tomorrow is/will be another day....
