just thought of a silly way around the chopping veggies thing , but might need a little bit of more thought (thinkings not my strong piont):o

put a freezer bag over the plaster cast use some duct tape to tape a fork to it then stab your veggies to hold them stil and slice away , not much chance of cutting yourself either

hope thats of some use  :A

Hey Wol hope you are feeling a bit better and managing to do everything one handed! Think you need a new sign up to warn visitors of possible dangers!

    Hi peeps

First of all, thank you all so much for your good wishes, helpful suggestions and downright !!!!-my-pants posts!!

    Now we're past the watershed......

First of all i'm a bit clumsy ATM and now have....
a whole cup of hot chocolate on my dressing gown and the lounge carpet. ..Vanish is so great
and a sticky patch on my kitchen floor  :o:cool: ....uh uh peeps....courtesy of an open can of apricots in syrup that fell out of my fridge yesterday.

    Now...things I cant do.......

peel a banana with one hand...or even with one hand and teeth...it was comical...I pity the poor postman who was delivering my mail at the time..:o deep throat  ....the mind boggles...and Smashed/ZTD...careful with your comments please. This is supposed to be an unsmutty thread :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

and...(boys turn away now).,.open those little cellophane-wrapped things us gals need at certain times....mental note....must order some Tenas from Tescos direct:rotfl: :rotfl:

But I managed to drape the washing on the line and havent burnt myself or chopped any fingers off while cooking.....yet;)

Good news today..the cast will be coming off wed week and the hospital will be fitting me with a special lightweight thermoplastic splint...but they cant tell me if I will have at least some RH functionality when is fitted...so could still be one armed bandit for another 3-6 weeks

Anyhow...take care peeps...and once again many thanx for your posts...they really are a great tonic and help me get through the days.

    Big hugs to all
