I apologise sincerely -it was meant to be a joke as indicated by my smiley face at begining of post. Sorry again for any offence.

Does the time it takes to input the crossword make any difference? Is the clock just for your own reference??

No idea!! But I doubt that the winner would be the person submitting the crossword in the shortest time, or everyone would be doing it on paper, then typing in the answers as fast as possible. I have also found that you can submit the completed puzzle more than once, as I once clicked on "submit" instead of "check". I was still able to start again and resubmit.

I would like to know if you have a better chance of winning through multiple submissions! I hope not, because there will always be someone who will sit at their PC all day doing nothing but that!

  • can you tell me, do you need to manually type the answers into the crossword or can you copy the answers that you submit??

I don't understand, Joanne. Are you asking if you can scan in your answers from a paper copy? If so, I don't think so.

Maybe you're asking if you can copy and paste the answers that you've already typed in. Again, I don't think so.

  • sorry, that didn't make much sense now did it!! What I mean is can I copy and paste the crossword that you give us the answers to each day onto the pigsback website or do I need to type each answer into it manually?? Does that make any sense

Yep!! :D But I think you are forever doomed to type it in!

Of course, there's usually someone who knows better ... Fingers crossed!
