I don't know exactly how much money is sloshing around at 0%, but the amount of total borrowing on credit cards, is at least a few hundred billion. Although most of it isn't at 0%, and some of it is by people paying off their cards every month, but obviously waiting for the bill to arrive, prior to making payment. Some of the 0% is by people who do have debts, and shift their 0%. And of course, some of it is by people like me, who do stoozing (about £11k at the moment)
  • Cheers Shiggaddi, so that's £11k accounted for!

  • To be honest Ive never minded paying a decent interest rate for a decent rewards programme, but I find it very hard to choose these days as I dont like to use amex! It seems people are willing to see rewards go for a 0% with a fee, least when rewards was the main focus CC companys had to work had for your business!

Well, Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank have just launched new cards. They've extended the previously abysmal 5 month deal to 6 months now on BT's and purchases - and still no BT fee!!!

The end of 0%? I think not!
