Hi, can anyone tell me if a bluetooth adapter is different from a wireless adapter. I have successfully broken my wireless adapter thingy, I knocked it off the back of the computer and it is now n two pieces. I am looking for one on the internet but am confused as to what to buy. I have a BT home hub if that is any help.

Bluetooth is a different WiFi standard to that used by wireless routers.
You will need one of these here or possible one of these here to work with your BT Home Hub. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

Well you have already broken an external USB adapter. The internal PCI cards are protected and work better than USB. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
OP, if you don't know anyone who would be confident enough opening up your PC, then you should stick with the USB devices....
Installind the PCI cards linked above is easy enough, but you have to be confident in opening up the case and slotting it in the right place... not hard, but can be daunting for some...0
