I don't think you should charge anything remotely close to what a human is charged for. I also don;t think a GP charge a 100% margin on medicine Vs the web what soever, and I also don;t think that they charge for a prescription. charge me for filling in the insurance form that pays YOU, and i will change vet immediately never to return.
Actually - insurance isnt there to pay the vets at all - its to reinburse an owner the money they have paid the vets for their animals treatment - not the same thing at all (so all the people who claim back the money before they pay the vet, then spend it on other things are actually committing fraud (thats just an incidental observation, not saying thats whats going on!) The contract you enter into when you take an animal to a vet is between the owner (or agent if its not your animal) and the vet - then there is a seperate contract between the owner of the animal and their insurance company (presuming the animal is insured). Vets are under no obligation at all to deal with insurers direct - its goodwill that makes them do this as regually as they do. Its the responsibility of the owner or agent to pay the vets bill.
HS - i know, funny eigh !!!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0
