HC GLITCHES/OFFERS
For those who get the voucher from the HC mailing for 50%off a smartcard for your weighings these are currently going through free with the voucher plus 400pts. Thanks Zoecrims.

I read the above from the first page. I have a "50% off when you buy a BMI smartcard for 12 weigh-ins" but I don't understand the glitch.....

Please could someone explain for me?

Not sure if this has ever been posted on any of the boots threads, but if you have a double points coupon from the mailings you can use it 3 times, this works as long as you have at least 2 boots advantage cards and either 1) have the gift of the gab or 2) have a not so clever SA.

EG, when you first use the coupon the receipt will say 'you have one more use on this coupon' and sometimes the SA will mark a number 1 on the coupon so the next SA realises you've used it once. BUT on the second use, use a different card and the till will also print you have used it once again, you can try and continue to use it on a different card but I usually just use card number 1/2 again and then the SA will take it off you.

AAAHHHHHHh i've become addicted to boots! I blame you all! (in a good way! as i now have £70 on my advantage card! in 3 weeks i've gained £40 worth of points and a few gwp's!) Thank you all for the time and effort you all put in to bring us the glitches and offers!

Had another quick shop today and got:
2 x amazon passion flower & cupuacu hanwash reduced to 75p each from £3(also matching handcream 75p)
2 JK nail files £4
2 x 17 nail varnishes and free gwp.
2 magazines.
used acm 2 17 nail varnishs for £4
100 points on 17
total: 12.55
points received: 624!
free hair care till spit ( acm wont give me umbertto gianni 1/2 pric voucher ahh! Which i want as i now have 2 till spits and want to pay 9p! for a shine product. told my friend to go to boots and keep checking her advantage card!!)

With the number 7 £5 voucher from last week, my JK nail files and now my 17 nail varnishs my nails have never looked so good! Still no reduced sanctuary left in Nottingham! I will get some, i will!

Does anyone think that boots might be changing the med/amazon packaging soon? I think that they might be because they had the free gwp, now a lot of the range seems to be being reduced to small prices! i.e body scrub £7.50 to £1.88. Didn't they do something like that with the time delay range? I.e, on offer with till spit, when that finished then the packaging changed and it all went half price. What do the powers of the boots mse board think?

2) I am a sappy sentimental cow sometimes - included in this lot is the nail varnish I wore on my first day at uni 10 years ago, the nail varnish and lipstick I wore on my wedding day, and the nail varnish I wore for my 21st birthday party.
3) Everything below the Benefit Bathina shimmery type stuff is "in use", everything above the Bathina is a "spare" or duplicate.
4) I am a sucker for limited edition stuff, especially the No7 ones, but very very rarely buy them full price
5) I need therapy :rotfl:

Here are my little shops from today...I managed to find a use for £5 off Ruby&Millie mailing voucher Also had a small issue with photo dept...see below..

Shop 1

7x5 wooden photo frames x 2 £2.75 each*

Total to pay: £2.75
Received: 458pts
Used: 250pts WYB any frame PC voucher, 200pts WYB any album/frame ACM voucher

Underneath the frames i picked up was a clearance SEL saying "£2.75 dark 7x5 frame", so I assumed the four 7x5 dark wooden frames were those ones. However, when the SA scanned them they came up as £9 each! Turns out someone put them in the wrong place and noone had removed the old SEL. I explained that it was very misleading to have the frames there and so manager overrode the till (thanks!)
