ugh was not my day today!

    1st shop:
UG conditioning mask 0.09p with both vouchers
botanics rdiance beaty lotion thingy £4.69?
botanics mini scrub £2.00-this got reduced on bogohp
    clearance shaving gel 0.35p x 2

Till beeped with my 1/2 price facial botanics, boo. but ws pleased with the UG for 9p and got a til spit so went in search of more UG...

got another mask and some jemma kidd files and wipes for the points-when the SA asked for £7.09p I asked her to check the till spit had been taken off. It hadn't. Had to then have an argument (albeit friendly) about how it was "allowed" and I'd just done it upstairs. After consulting a supervisor it was agreed I should have got the £2 off (HUGE queue behind me now). However, neither SA at the till can do refunds so I got asked to go to the pharmacy to ask for refund. Then had to have another argument and another supervisor before I get refunded and have to do the transaction again, losing 8 points in the process somehow

Then I came home and my boyfriend snapped one of the prongs of the plug on my straighteners off in the socket

I did cheer myself up by admiring the stash I have acquired in the last few weeks :D
8 points for £2 spend so when the mistake was rectified and the £2 spit was taken off you lost 8 points :)

Just a heads up for anyone who shops in an Alliance pharmacy, some of these stores are turning into Boots branches soon (they are already owned by Boots) a lot of stock is being heavily reduced to make room for more Boots own products as the stores are generally small ones, not a lot of shelf space. Worth looking out for if you are passing.

DS girlfriend is an SA in an Alliance store and says she has had a huge list of stock to reduce over the last few days, her store is one of those changing over. Reductions are on the SEL's.

do you know if you can use advantage cards? I found a receipt from the chemist local to my parents the other day and that is an alliance pharmacy. may have to go there more often if it becomes Boots:rotfl:

Do you think this will work
    P&P 16.75
    lipilicious 9.00
    P&P gradual tan stuff £9.00

    use

    500 points wyb 2 P&P
    200 points colour cosmetics
    400 points lipilicious
    200 points suncare

342 takes off £9 so spend of 25.75 and 1300 points?

    Hi

I have tried using the 500 points wyb 2 P&P on the p&p suncare but the till beeped. The SA then read the back of the coupon and it said it excludes the suncare range. So it has to be used with the facial range of p&p, which unfortunately is more expensive

If you use the ACM voucher for 2 of the High Gloss nail varnishes for £4 you get the GWP as the till sees you have met the qualifying spend (the nail varnishes are usually £2.59 each) before you hand over the voucher.

AFAIK you will only get the tillspit if you hand over £5 so you would need to find something else for £1 or more to add.
