    Had a great shop today:

    2 x Oral B Electric Toothbrushes - £24.74 for both as currently half price!
    1 x Blue BMI weight card thingie - £0.00 (was £1 but used 1/2 price HC voucher)

    Used - PC Oral B voucher (1500 points), HC 1/2 BMI thingie voucher (which gives 400 points for some reason!)

    Total = £24.74
    Points = £1996

    Whoop-whoop! :T

    Also received £2 tillspit, but ACM has yet to offer me one of the UG vouchers!
    "Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
    "Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
    "True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

    Did several good shops today, but think I overstayed -- the SA messed up my last one. I noticed part of her error, but not all.

    I had a coupon for 5 free Kodak prints and decided to get 10, thinking I would get a coupon for a free med body butter. Not only did I not get the coupon, but the SA got very flustered when the Kodak coupon didn't scan. So she was going to deduct the price of 5 pics manually. She first tried to tell me the pics cost less than they did, then she added 1.95 instead of deducting it. When I pointed out the total went up, she tried to deny it! Then she checked and realized she had in fact *added* rather than deducted another 1.95! Then she tells me how it's all my fault as I should've given her any coupons before she rang up anything -- which is untrue and wouldn't have changed things, the kodak one still would've beeped and she still would've had to figure out the simple solution of deducting the price of five prints manually. On top of all that, the quality of the prints was crap and I'll never use photo services at Boots again.

    But the worst bit was that she didn't take off my £2 hair voucher for the UG shine! I didn't realize this at first after all the mess, and since the total in fact came to just over £5. But after I walked away I realized I had bought another Elle for the specific reason that you still get a till spit if you spend less than £5 because the money-off coupon I used for Elle counts toward your total spend (I had just done this in another purchase and it worked). So I basically got cheated out of two quid off on a hair product I never would've bought if it weren't for the coupons! I did get it for half as she did use my UG ACM coupon, though. And she did put the unused £2 till spit back in my bag, so I still have it, but I would've rather had it off the item. I was tempted to go back, but since another coupon was used on the hair item (the half off one) and I no longer had it, I knew it would confuse the hell out of them trying to figure out how to rectify the problem. I'd already been Bootsing for about 2 hours and was past ready to get home.

    On the bright side, I told my hubby and he said "Don't let £2 ruin your nice time shopping, don't worry about it." Made me feel better. Still annoyed, but not outraged. And now it should be easy to stay out of the store for a few days, 'cause it's no fun to go there if you don't get your deals.

    Phew I thought it was just me who spent that long!!
  • I have enough £2 till spits and ACM half price Umberto Giannini vouchers to get 4 of the masks, but do I do them all together or split it into 4 shops and buy something else with each transaction.

    I am quite easily confused so I need to prepare myself.

    You'll have to do separate transactions.
