    Hey night owls :hello:

I have been having a voucher rummage and have come across 2x half price Boots baby/maternity vouchers and here's the good part...they have different barcodes. ;)
So i'm guessing you would get the product free as till would take off 1/2 then the other 1/2 totalling zero.

Please feel free to PM me and I'll send them out asap as they are much better being put to use by you mothers out there :A

    xx

Has anyone got any suggestions what I should do about a problem I've had today, please?

A while ago, I treated myself to a RoC gift pack with face cream and eye cream in, in order to get the Mother's day GWP which I thought was really good value. Unfortunately, I finally got round to trying the eye cream and sample moisturiser from the GWP, and they're no good for my skin, so today I took the sealed face/eye cream gift pack back to Boots to swap it for something else. All was going swimmingly until the SA made a mistake with the refund on the computer/till and had to call the manager. She said I couldn't have an exchange on skincare, even though it was all sealed, and she wouldn't budge on this. So, what can I do?? I've now got £37.99 (although it's on offer at the moment for £32.99, when the SA started doing the exchange through the till it came up as £37.99) worth of stuff that I can't use.

I don't want to contact customer services, cos when I e-mailed them about the £5 till spits I'd been unable to use, they were really snotty and said it was the last time they would help me (!!!)

Shall I just try in a different Boots and hope I have a more sympathetic SA this time (the manager had been called down from her lunchbreak, so I don't suppose that helped!)

I don't know how to sell stuff on e-bay, so I feel really stuck.

I'm so fed up - if the SA hadn't made a mistake in the refund and called the manger, I would have been able to exchange, no problem. So near, and yet so far....

    aaaargh!!

I think you were just unlucky with this SA and would say goto another store.I worked for boots (off sick) and they have a money back guarantee with roc especially if you are sensitive to the product! any skincare SA will know this and without a receipt they should at least let you exchange it,with a receipt a full refund. If you go again and they refuse you should ask them their policy and money back guarantee on Roc.If all else fails phone roc (freephone no. on box) and they will post you a sae for the product and refund you fully in postal orders.( i know that for sure!)hthZoe

I wanted some clear varnish the other day, so thought I might as well get the 17 ones to get a GWP, but they don't do clear in high gloss, so I didn't bother getting any. I don't wear nail varnish much. Sally06 sent me a really nice No7 limited edition one a while ago called Whisper, I do wear that one sometimes. My nails are awful anyway, I'm always breaking them.
  • good morning all!!XX

could someone please let me know the official 'Boots policy' in accepting 'brand coupons/MOC' - do you actually need to buy the 'brand' product or can you use them regardless - ie on anything in boots???? - would be grateful if anyone could let me know...............thank you!!XX

  • I took the Glossing Locks Hair Spritz when we went on holiday a few weeks ago and as I do lie in the sun I used it at the pool side and I agree that it did make my hair greasy but when I washed it of an evening my hair was very soft and shiney. However, as my hair is platinum blonde(dyed) it did not stop the colour from going a bit brassy, so a big thank you to those of you who recommended Schwarzkopf Touch of Silver shampoo. It has restored the colour beautifully.
