SD cards

My DH would like to upgrade the memory size in his nokia 5200. He currently has a 1gb sandisc micro SD card, which works fine but he wants something with a larger capacity to hold more music. Nokia are top price, and he has been satisfied with the sandisc, but hasn't a clue about the differences of fast speed 2gb versus ordinary 4 gb ---IYSWIM?

So could someone who has a clue advise the clueless here please?

Makes no difference for playing back music. It'd only be a difference in a high megapixel camera and Satnav etc where speed is more of an issue.

In his situation, the only time he's likely to notice the difference in speed is when he's loading a large number of music files onto the card - and even then he may not if the card reader or phone itself are the bottlenecks in transferring the data across.
