Have you tried http://www.lettingsearch.co.uk/ , or googling for other online letting / rental agencies?
Good luck with your house hounting :cool:0 -
Look for new developments in the area, and then find the housing association or agency responsible for the affordable housing. In our area, a group called Muir housing association has just took a few dozen nice 1/2 bedroom apartments off a large new 2/3/4 bedroom house Redrow estate. The housing association sometimes work with the council, i.e. the council will send some priority cases there way, but most of the time you can apply yourself direct. A friend of mine is paying £64 a week for a nice brand new, redrow built apartment with all the works on the above mentioned estate, no deposit and weekly payment by a card, the place is better than mine and I'm paying £460 per month to a private landlord (not for much longer I hope). Worth checking out.0
