Free Asda deliveries = save over £200 pa with Asda Credit Card

If you have a weekly shop delivered to your home and you spend over £100 each week (which is becoming more likely with increasing prices), you will save yourself over £200 a year if you use Asda and pay with an Asda Credit Card. This is because delivery is free if you use the credit card and spend over £100. Delivery is normally between £4 and £5. Over 50 weeks, see how you can save. But pay it off in full each month, of course.

But the asda card is crap, would not give them a penny more than i have to and when the petrol discount go,s west then the card will follow it.

Give who Asda or GE Capital? and why is the Card crap? You get 2p off a Litre of Fuel which is all I use it for personally then pay off in full each month by DD. APR is not that good they gave me 17.9% and a £500 limit which has since been upped to £1K.

Would agree the Fuel discount goes, so does the card.

If you look at my post i exclude the fuel discount everything else about the asda card IMO is crap.
reason number 1. BT,s outside of the 1st 6 weeks are at 6 months not 9 [ no where is it stated in t&c,s]
reason number 2. BT Fee outside of the 1st 6 weeks costs more[ 2.99%] [ no where is it stated in t&c,s]
i probably can think of more reasons but off the top of my head those 2 are good starters for 10.
how long do you have to be a customer before credit limit increase i ask just for reference as i,m
not using card apart from fuel.

Talking of Asda, I've found a great site with full details of all the latest deals across grocery supermarkets. You might want to check it out:

Clio, I phoned them up and they said 6 Months after which when I asked for an increase they asked how much I wanted so I requested £1K from £500 and they agreed straight off.

As yourself I only use mine for fuel and IIRC twice for Shopping deliveries in 18 months always paying the card off in full each month by DD

Don't know for sure but I doubt it, as I phoned up asked the question and they said yes straight away, even asked is £1K was enough.
