Hi all.
I have just won (yipee!)an HP Pavilion, teeny tiny laptop and want to transfer the info I have in Roboform and Favourites to it from my old Laptop and am not sure how to do this? I was running Vista on old and Vista HP on new laptop if this has any bearing on it.
I have looked at both programmes and both seem to say you can do it, but I can't find instructions on how anywhere?
I'm sure it's a relatively simple thing to do, but Idon't know how to do it and am stuck.
Any helpful peeps here who can assist please?
Many thanks

In Vista the name may be slightly different, but there is the equivalent of the File and Settings Transfer Wizard in XP, which gives you instructions as you go along.
It should be in Accessories, System Tools.0 -
Many thanks. I need to sit down and spend an hour or so downloading and transferring activation codes etc without being tempted onto MSE!
Am fairly computer literate, but it's so frustrating when it's just a small thing that you don't know.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
you will need some way of connecting the hosts together. either through a Router/Switch or directly back to back using a crossover USB cable. - unless you just transfer the files onto a pen/USB drive and do it that wayDon't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0
