This is an OCR programme so you can get rid if you want.
    ATI control panel
Need to keep this - it's the display properties applet for your graphics card.
    Creativemediasource
Entirely up to you. If you use Windows Media Player, you can get rid. It's only another music player program that's installed for a Creative Soundcard.
    Dellmediaexperience
    dellmediaexperience update
Runs the media controls on the keyboard and fires up applications depending on what you press. Entirely up to you.
    G15A922EN
A borked Dell Update. Feel free to remove.
a Load of Java and JS2E runtime environment updates
Leave them alone. Needed for content on some websites.
    Learn2player
Is a media player for certain types of files - basically Dell "how to's". Feel free to delete.
    Modem helper
    Modem on hold

Both to do with your modem. You can delete the "On Hold" entry if you want but I'd leave the helper entry in.

This needs cleaning up. Earlier versions that are still installed will still make your PC vulnerable, as a lot of the Java updates are for security reasons.

You need to remove all the older versions. Go to this site http://prm753.bchea.org/software.html and download javara. This is a neat utility to "remove older versions" of Java Runtime. Once done, click the "Search for Updates" button to download the latest version, if one exists. Once downloaded and installed, run the "remove older versions" again to remove the last but one version.
