Free Upgrades

Some time ago I received a call from a company called Free Upgrades.
They informed me that my current contract with T Mobile was over. They said that they could offer me a new handset and contract with 3G which was a much better deal than my existing one.
When I tried to change my old no. from T Mobile to 3G I was informed that I still had six months left until my current contract expired.
Also there was a cost of approximately £120.00 for having my contract cancelled and my existing number transferred to 3G.
The icing on the cake was when I find out of my bank statement that the Free upgrades had a £9.00 direct debit arrange for insurance that I had not be informed.
When Free Upgrades contact prospective customers they do not have a clue if the current contract is over or not. They just want to sell.
Do not trust them.

Are you on an eighteen month contract with T Mobile?
I find that I receive these calls when I am twelve months into an eighteen month contract, as they assume your contract is twelve months long.Gone ... or have I?0 -
Hmm… to be honest I am not sure.
This is something that I need to look up.Si Deus pro nobis quis contra nos?0 -
Hiya,
A few weeks back I too was getting calls from this company.
I didn't answer the calls but did phone back once. Hung up straight away as soon as the recorded message kicked in!
Anyway, I typed the phone number into Google and it came up with a site where you can add nusiance numbers etc.
There are a hell of a lot of people had calls from this company!!
Funny thing is they are all T-Mobile customers!!
I'm also with T-Mobile...have been for years.....
I had recently upgraded through the T-Mobile site...so I knew something wasn't right.
Just been searching to try and find the site but I can't seem to find it!!
I did use a link from it though to block unwanted, company calls etc.
All sounds very fishy & T-Mobile related!
Maybe they've had customer info leaked or something........but are not admitting to it!!!!73lb lost!!

I have had similar calls too. I have now set my phone to automatic call rejection so it doesn't ring.0
