Flash Player

Hi,

I have a problem with downloading the latest version of flash player.

It allows me to start the installation, the download box comes up, I click install, then it tells me its installed. However its not installed. I have restarted my pc, but that hasnt worked.

Any pointers? I am running xp, and my daughter is having this problem with her laptop which also runs xp.

It sounds like you are trying to install it into Internet explorer.

There are several causes of this failing, including a previous version not being uninstalled properly or another application that uses the flash player still being open during the installation.

You can get hold of Adobe's Flash removal tool from here -
