Hi,
Can anyone tell me where I can get a yale style deadbolt lock that I can use on a forward opening front door? All the deadbolt locks I have found only work on doors that open inwards...as my front door opens outwards the mechnism is the opposite to the way the lock is set-up (does that make sense??!)
Many thanks

Look here. This might do the job:

You can use any yale type lock. On the back there is a screw holding a plate. Remove the screw and plate. Note carefully the way the spring is fitted and then take it out carefully (without pinging it across the room!). You can then remove the latch, flip it over, pop it back in and refit the spring. Refit the plate and hold it securely while you check the action of the lever and the slot where the lock tongue fits. If all is well, pop the screw back in and there you are, the lock is now reversed. Ta-daa!0
