Lombard Direct Credit Card "discontinued"

Just called Lombard Direct to apply for their Mastercard.

Seemed to be the best option (having been KB'd by Lloyds) with 0% for 6 months on BT's with no fee.

Spoke to a guy called James who advised that the card has been "discontinued" by RBS and is no longer available.

There's still details on their website so I guess they just haven't updated it yet.

Another BT fee free card bites the dust.

So, what will happen to all the people that already have a card? Will they be stopped? what about their outstanding credit?

if its true your card will still be used up until it needs renewed when you may get a mint card or something

Why Mint?

And surely they won't just GIVE you a Mint card, they would surely have to do some credit checks and stuff, this seems very unfiar for preople that have had the card for some time and are unable to get other cards now due to failing credit scores

what i meant was that we'll probably be issued with another RBS company card like mint (such as If did when they started giving out hglifax cards)

well it finally came, and I asked the person on the phone if it was true it was being discontinued and they had no idea what i was talking about??
