Conservatories

Can anyone offer advice on which is the best company when it comes to conservatories? We want to have one built but don't want any cowboys or horror stories.
Would appreciate some sound advice.

Depends where you live My gfs brother works for a double glazing and conservatory company. He works for a small local company.

If you have a look on the forums I think the DIY in my home forum there are other threads about this sort of thing and people suggest that local companies are better to go with.

    Hi landg,

I'll move this over to the 'In My Home (includes DIY)' Board :)

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.

The usual advice is to opt for a small local firm for windows. The small local firm I use do conservatories as well so I'd still pick that route :)
