Hey peeps

The down arrow key on my laptop has stopped working, the other keys up / right / left all working OK, anyone have any idea how to resolve it?

Pop the key off (Stick a pen or blunt knife under a corner) and check there is nothing stuck underneath it. Reattach it and try now.

It should just click back into place, don't be afraid to press hard (On the other hand don't take a hammer to it, that would be too hard :P)

OK, there are 2 black very small pices that go under the key, I don't know which order they go in and no matter how hard I press, the key won't clip in

The only part loose from the keyboard should be the key itself (ie, the square of plastic with an arrow on it!) - have these other bits that you mention come off as well?
