Savings and Investment Books

Ok I am bored during the summer. I have a parttime job but even so, its parttime. And when I get bored I tend to spend my money (not very MSE I know ;)).

However has anyone read and recommend any good savings and/or investment books I could buy/get out the library?

I have read investing for dummies now I want to go further and read something more challenging.

Thanks

Three excellent books to start with

The Millionaire Next Door, by TJ Stanley and DW Danko
Reminiscences of a Stock Operator, by Edwin Lefevere
The Intelligent Investor, by Benjamin Graham ( get the revised version with commentary by Jason Zweig, if you can ).

Just pop down your local library each day and read the quality newspapers (especially the Daily Telegraph and Financial Times).

It's FREE and they are full of articles to build up your knowledge of markets and investments.

I looked at the Millionaire Next Door but reviews said it was very american and also very common sense. Have you read it? Is it still a good read?

Yes, it's an American book based on American studies and yes, it's common sense stuff but still interesting. OK, it kind of boils down to " millionaires tend to be people who don't spend more than absolutely necessary " but there's quite a bit more detail!
I thought it was a good read, if only to confirm my suspicions.
