I've recently bought a laptop with vista, and tried to install my scanner to be told the install disk is for 98 & XP only!!
How can I install my scanner (Packard Bell Diamond 1200 Plus)?? I've tried looking on Packards site to download an install file and can't find one. I don't want to have to buy a new scanner!

It would appear that Packard bell have not produced updated drivers for your model of Scanner, a quick inspection of the website only shows drivers for XP.
You may get lucky and find that the XP drivers may work with Vista..

The link takes you to the driver download page for your scanner, try downloading and installing the drivers, this may not work but its a shot!It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.0
