Hi,
I have a Buffalo NAS Drive with my MP3's on. It's wired into my Netgear router and my Laptop connects to it via wi-fi.
It won't play a single song all the way through without gaps.
I don't know if it is the router or the drive.
My internet ain't brill but is that TalkTalk or the router?
I've had a poke round via google and now my head is spinning with is it my MTU or nearby interference (no-one nearby is on my channel number).
Any logical way of troubleshooting advice would be really good of you folks.
Thanks

Try connecting the laptop to the router using Ethernet and see how long it takes copy a large file across from the NAS drive. Repeat this over wireless and you will probably pin point the problem. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

Good idea.
I'm off out but I'll try it and report back later.
