Its actually from Expansive, they make their money by charging £2.49 postage for a locked 128 memory card with a few photos on and calling it a "promotion". They have more memory cards and some DVDs and CDs "free" also if anybody fancies wasting their cash lol: http://www.freedigitalgifts.com/ and http://www.moviepromos.co.uk/Did you know you can get Viagra software now??? Yeah, it turns your floppy drive into a hard drive0

It is just a standard USB flash drive specially formatted and uses the "U3 launchpad" to auto-start applications. There will be a hidden system folder on the drive holding these files.
As they don't advertise the capacity I would imagine it would be something tiny like 64MB or 128MB. Definately not worth the £2.49.
As for being worth £9.99 it would have been worth that 5 or so years ago.
Don't bother with this people, if you want a USB flash drive go and buy one.0 -
The U3 launcher can be removed from the flash drive but it's not simple:as of November 2006, U3 drives come with an uninstaller on the USB drive itself. However, the uninstaller doesn't work in all cases; and requires installing proprietary software on the computer before being able to remove the U3 features from the flash drive

If it helps, I received a memory stick from the Sun a while back as part of a compensation package (long story!).
Think it was a Bourne Ultimatum film one, and it was 256mb.
Needless to say I haven't bothered using it and would much rather pay a fiver for 1gb on Play.com!0 -
Or 4 Gb ones from Amazon for £10.99.

Don't know how good they are but they get good reviews.0 -
To shed some light on this, there is a similar promotion on the website which has been discussed moviepromos.co.uk, if Angelina Jolie is not to your taste. They say that the USB can be reused but this one also has games worth 18 quid!!!0 -
When the Borne Conspiracy came out a newspaper (I don't remember which one) had the same offer.
The drive was 32MB but could be formatted easily.
If you have any problem formatting it though use Eraser:

Hope this helps0
