mint credit card

what a pain in the !!!!

was one day late payin my cc and the av charged me £12 late payment fee and told me my £3000 balance transfer no longer 0%.
had great delight ringing em tonight and payin the balance off in full on my debit card and told em to close the account .
you now what they said right the payment has gone through and we will will close your account when the money has cleared no pleading for my custom or anything ,reckon they dont want my me as a customer then.:T

    Add another notch on the card company's belt.

    Minimum payment by direct debit is without a question the best way to have prevented this from happening.

    There may be residual interest to pay before the account is finally settled if you've lost the 0% deal.

    You must be kicking yourself for being late, even more so now for not realising that If you'd rang them and explained the situation they would have probably reinstated your 0% offer.
    You just have to read the threads here to see how many others have fallen foul of their offers, only to have them reinstated.

    Without being rude you did admit to paying late. It says on their credit card page that to keep the offer you must not break the terms of the agreement. like CannyJock says there are ways of avoiding this kind of thing. :confused:
