    There is no real evidence of the MMR causing autism, however one thing I do know, not getting a child vaccinated, or delaying the vaccinations can cause Mumps, which I caught at the age of eight and because of that, I now have single sided hearing, its not too much of a disability but it can knock your confidence somewhat.

    My two children were vaccinated as a matter of priority at the expense of the NHS and are both fit and healthly. (I wouldn't put my children at any unneccesary risk, and if I thought for one moment that the risk of autism was high, I would have paid privately).
