Hi All!

First time on this board, so be gentle with me!!

Been concentrating on doing the inside of www.theupsidedownhouse.9f.com

& now we're getting to the stage where the garden (which you'll see in the pics was trashed by the digger) needs to be considered.

First thoughts were to hire a rotavator & level ourselves. But £150ish hire costs, wondered what a sensible £$£$ to pay to have it done for us would be?

Milton Keynes area. Recommends welcome!

Thanks in advance!!

VB

I would have thought getting someone else to do it would be much dearer than doing it yourself. How big is your garden? Mine is 100ft x 60ft and I was quoted £3000 to clear and level. In the end I did it myself, and I'm glad I did, it was a great experience, and I appreciate that its all my own work.

I found it was similar price to get man + rotovator as hire rotavator, and much less work

    This was on alotment [sp?]

However it was a few years back, and very much cash in hand

I think it will depend on garden size & hence how long it will take
    Numerus non sum
