What about renting out rooms in the house you live in? Is it big enough? Depending on the size of the house you could get a fair bit of income from renting out the rooms individually if you are willing to share where you live with strangers. thank you very much for all the positive support I am receiving from you all it is so good not to feel so isolated:j
as regards suing him for cost, it is so not straightforward, there is loads missing out of story. y'see the law is not about what is fair, it is about what you can afford, and what risks your able to take, and basically I don't want to make any connection over him, I want to keep door closed on that one. Boy if I could only reveal his job to you..but I can't ....boy would you laugh, and it is not solicitor or judge!
with regard to tenants, I am pursuing renting but there is a shortfall regardless, and I have stayed in the house and had foreign students, and it is lucrative, as long as they can afford to come over, which may not be the case, I am thinking now more, and sobbing less which is positive.
I may be able to juggle some funds temporarily to see which way I am going and give me a breathing space. this site has been great for information
I could release some funds but it means taking more risk in a situation where rates are not good, what I would ideally like to know is how to offload it without harming the others, which are good properties, I am feeling a bit more up now as I have discovered some options that I was unaware of just need to check them out,0 -
Sounds a nightmare situation! There must be an option, I hope you find it. Like you say, if you can do anything to tide you over for now, I think in the future property prices, the market, and better mortgage deals will pick up again. I wonder if it may be worth chatting to a financial advisor who understands the property market?0
