Can someone plse advise me where I stand.
I wrote to Cap 1 to request repayment of charges totalling £589.38 (£524.00 in chgs, £65.38 interest. Eventually received letter on 31/5/07 stating they had refunded £202.00 onto my card and that this was the end of the matter as far as they were concerned. I wasn't even given the oppotunity to refuse the offer and thought naively there was nothing more I could do.
I have since read on this site where others have carried on with the claim even though they had had a reduced amount paid onto their accounts and had succeeded.
What I would like to know is can I still try and reclaim the oustanding monies from Cap1 even though it was a year ago that they wrote.
Hope someone can advise.
Regards

What were the charges for and can you break them down eg £12 for a late payment etc.
You stand no chance of getting the interest back.
If by any chance the amount you have been refunded is equivalent to £524 minus £12 per charge then I don't see you getting any more back.0
