When I did this a few years ago I wrote a letter to the address I had.

UK Info disk V11 (think that was the last one) is what you want matey.
has phone & electoral register.
can't help where to get it, but i'm sure google will help you0 -
Thanks everyone, its the phone number i am trying to get, but you are right, maybe i should contact by letter, i have street name but not number.Amazon No:170

See, if BT has no contact details, they're probably ex-directory, so may well be very difficult to find by phone. Electoral roll may help, but they can opt out of having details showing on public version of that. A google for their name may bring up a social networking profile or an email address. I've just googled DH and found us VERY quickly ...Signature removed for peace of mind0

what about doing a search on friends reunited to see if they're online
, you can maybe send them a message through that
