Really short of money this month, as Caroline my daughter has not got full time work yet, and can't afford to give me any money. Tax Credit and Child Benefit for her have stopped too, so I decided to allow myself £100 food money only. Drew it out and put it in a "housekeeping purse", so I'm not tempted to use the old card!
Went into Icland, bought chicken breasts and a few other things, cost £16.
Then went in Tesco. Bought evrything I need for the month, either Bogof or value, came to £31 with coupons cut from mags to help!
So I've got £52 for the rest of the month, for bread, milk, and fruit. I'm feeling rather smug at the moment, hope I can keep it up!

Cool!
I'm pretty damn pleased I've got our shop down from £120 a week to £65 a week (but it is for a family of six!) Although I have spent the savings on winter clothing from Primark for them all!!
Keep going!0 -
