My question is....
How do I convert a document changed with ocr back into an image document.
Have used the OCR facility on my scanner to change into text, so i can change a date!!
However, when I save...the document doesn't resemble anything like the original.

The document you get when you run OCR on a picture, or when you scan a document, is only going to be the text the OCR programme recognised when it ran the scan - it will rarely look like the original and will, at best, be approx. 80% accurate.
The OCR option doesn't change the original; it just extracts the recognisable text, which you can then edit in Word or Open Office (or other text editing software).
If you want an exact copy of the original document, you need to just scan it as you would normally, though you won't be able to edit it like you would a text file - unless you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat or are VERY good with a picture editing package!

depending on the document it should be pretty easy to change a few bits here and there in photoshop/paint.net/paintshop pro. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0
