Travel Insurance - Columbus Direct or Flexicover?

My travel insurance is up for renewal - never had to use it in the past so was wondering which is better - Columbus or Flexicover. As I plan to travel alot in the states I would rather pay the extra to know if I do claim its not going to be jumping through hoops.
