Mini I-Pod for christmas but I don't know ....

Hi my teenage daughter has asked if I could get her a [glow=red,2,300]mini I pod[/glow] for christmas but there's a few draw backs, um one is and I'm showing my age and thickness here, I'm not even sure what it is and secondly I wouldn't have a clue if I was getting the right bargain etc or where to buy the best one for the best price. So in true mse style I'm throwing myself into the open forum and asking for advice on where to buy and whats the best/cheapest I can get hold of. Would prefer if I could buy online as I can't get out easy, all help is appreciated, thanks in advance. ;D

Oooh , that's misleading on Pricerunner , they've got the price wrong. I wont take their word for it in future
it does seem over priced doesn't it I'll keep searching but I think the mini-i pod is out of my league
    :p
  • I priced them in Boots, thinking I could use some of my points but its £179 there :o

She'll just have to make do with the personal cd player I bought half price in Sainsburys a month ago, lol.

Either that or we'll have to keep a shape eye out for them on the RO lists, we'll burn a hole in the floor getting to the counter lol

I bought mine directly from apple and they offer a free custom laser engraving service at the moment.  Also free P&P.  I ordered 4 days ago and today got an email saying it has left the depot.

Also, if you have a look on these boards, I found a code for £8 off, so in total I managed to get my girlfriend a personalised one with her name on it for £171 inc VAT.

By the way, the one for £160 is before tax and is £188 inclusive.

If I looked harder I probably could have got one cheaper, but thought it wasn't a bad price seeing as I bought it from the manufacturers.

Good Luck with whatever you buy!
  • Thanks Dirk for the link, but her being a girl and soon to be 14 its one of the little pink ones she wants! Its also one of the little pink ones that she won't get 8)
