I'd like to start keeping a basic diary of day-by-day events. I'm not talking about a blog - it would be just for my own records. As I'd like to be able to access it from either my laptop or desktop, I was wondering whether I should use an on-line diary. (I did a Google search and found quite a few results)
Has anyone else done something like this? If so, can you recommend a particular site?

Thanks to weegie.geek and be_alright. However, it seems from Google's guided tour that their Calendar is more for future appointments rather than journals, while Livejournal seems to be for people who want to share their lives with others in that community (I don't!)"The trouble with quotations on the Internet is that you never know whether they are genuine" - Charles Dickens0

Use blogger, but make it so that only you can see it.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

Can't say I've used it, but surely it lets you add things retrospectively? They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
Livejournal lets you make your entries private only, it is geared towards sharing with friends but I have had a private journal on there for a while too with no complaints. You can set it up so they are automatically private - which means nobody would be able to read it except you, and only when you were logged in. And the free account would be more than enough for you if you only want to write it for yourself.I don't believe and I never did that two wrongs make a right0
